Am experiencing the four seasons of the year for this first time in my life.
Got the chance to wear winter clothes for the first time too...
Got the chance to switch on the heater in the day and at night to keep warm...
Got the chance to get extremely dry skin and understand that we can never get the best of both worlds...
Got to see places where there's more cows than people, more trees than buildings, more love than scams...
Sometimes misses hot and humid and unpredictably rainy weather...
Constantly misses the love for me from the little red dot...


PROFILE

Learning in an instituition called university...
To be precise, the place is called Monash University
To be more exact, it's called Monash University, Gippsland campus
To be very clear, I'm studying in Monash University, Gippsland campus, undertaking BA (Psych and Humans)
To paint the most descriptive picture, my main interest is in education.
But I'm learning about psychology, sociology (mostly under Aussie context) and History-politcs for now.
Social justice issues, politics, education, environmental issues, social realities and things like that intrigues me...

For additional information, I'm not doing that well most of the time.
But don't you dare judge!
There's ups and downs and you never know how high up I can get...
I don't know too but we'll find out...

It's a constant struggle but,
It's never too old to learn.
Never too poor to school.
Never too stupid to think.

New revelation today... 3:59 PM

I've got a new revelation today... well, many things in life is always present around us. It's just whether we notice it, appreciate it, use it (like abide by its principles)... I think many people know that we should live life in the present, not in the past and not in the future (not too far ahead at least), but then...

"Refusing the loan of life in order to avoid the debt of death." ~Otto Rank (quoted in Love's Executioner p.107)

This quote is a bit too chim for me, but it was used in a context and I kind of get what it means, that is do not be too afraid to live life. Do not be too afraid of what will happen next. Do not be hindered by the need to plan too far ahead. Sometimes, we just have to let it happen and see how it goes. But then, for me, I have always been like that. So how? So now, I'll try and see if I can learn and apply this quote. Change is a hard thing. I am trying... will see how it goes. For now, when I still feel fresh from the revelation, I'll try to use this 'energy' and do what I have to do now.



p/s: If u're free, I recommend Dr. Irvin Yalom's MeLove's Executioner. He's a psychiatrist and inside this book are 10 of his cases written from his point of view when he's going through the therapy with his clients. Interesting. I thought that therapists are not supposed to be judgmental but apparently, they can be in their heart. =)
